Just like its predecessor, the DX5 Rugged, this transmitter offers exceptional ergonomics. The result is a premium remote control with unparalleled durability and other innovative features that are distinguished by precision, flexibility and ease of use that you won’t want to miss.
To cope with the rigors of everyday life, the DX6 Rugged not only offers you practical 6 channels, but also has a set of switches for special functions such as lights, winches and the like. It is operated via a touch-sensitive control panel that provides better protection against moisture. Touch the desired menu item, option or value with your fingertip. The easy-to-read LCD display is also equipped with a backlight, providing unprecedented brightness and clarity even in the most difficult conditions. Thanks to integrated telemetry and the Smart Telemetry function**, you can view important data such as engine speed, vehicle speed, battery voltage and temperature directly on the transmitter in real time. In addition, the integrated USB-C port allows for hassle-free firmware updates for continuous functionality.
Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) bumpers protect the remote control from drops or impacts, and even accidental collisions. There is no external antenna to cut off – a small raised bumper in the housing protects the high-speed output signal. The universal front protector of the housing further increases durability and offers the possibility of mounting a camera, light source or other equipment. Two mounting points allow for a strap-on carry, which keeps the transmitter convenient but both your hands free when not driving. An easy-to-access compartment allows for storage of a few small tools, such as a T-wrench that can be locked in place. We’ve also improved the transmitter’s splash protection* to give you a little more leeway if a few splashes or raindrops accidentally hit the system. We top it all off with an aggressive off-road-style steering wheel, equipped with an innovative thumb lever that makes one-handed operation safer and more precise.
