Remote Differential Lock
Traxxas gives you the flexibility to lock and unlock the front and rear differentials to suit your driving needs right from your transmitter. Leave the differentials unlocked for a relaxed trail ride with smooth, tight cornering and better handling at high speeds. When the trail gets technical, lock the front and rear differentials, or just the front differential, for superior traction on extreme terrain. This patented design is proven tough and capable at the Traxxas Summit.

High/Low Gear
When the going gets tough, use your transmitter to shift into low gear for incredible torque in all-wheel drive. Shift into high gear for faster trail riding.

Waterproof

The TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler is fully waterproof for the way you really want to play, not “splashproof.” There’s a big difference. Traxxas’ patented innovation gives you the freedom to tackle streams, snow, and mud without worrying about water getting into your electronics.

The Power of Portals
The TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler is equipped with Traxxas’ game-changing portal axle set. Portal axles raise the truck for massive center clearance. To achieve the same clearance with straight axles (and not get stuck), your tires need to be an inch taller than the TRX-4’s tires. The TRX-4 chassis goes over rocks with ease.

Tough Steel Chassis
The chassis’s rugged, molded crossmembers create an extremely rigid foundation that allows the suspension to do the job it’s designed to do. You’ll feel the difference on trails, where eliminating chassis flex allows for precise wheel placement when navigating technical terrain.

Scale Detail
The TRX-4 Trail and Scale is shown with the legendary Ford Bronco Ranger XLT bodywork, complete with exciting scale details for an authentic 4-wheel drive experience. Rugged chrome bumpers provide clearance and protection and are equipped with D-rings for recovery. The front bumper is designed to be compatible with many popular off-road accessories.

GTS Aluminum Shocks
The GTS oil-filled shocks are designed specifically for the TRX-4 chassis. These silver-anodized aluminum modules provide silky-smooth damping and feature threaded shock bodies for easy ride height adjustment. The convincing scale realism looks great, and they perform even better with an O-ring cap seal and dual X-ring shaft seals.

A digital servo with full metal gears gives you the durability and control you need to steer confidently and reliably through tough situations.

Cruise Control
The Traxxas TQi radio system is equipped with cruise control for long-distance transitions. Set your speed using the transmitter, then use the multi-function knob to fine-tune it faster or slower. Cruise control makes it easy and convenient for the TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler to be your companion for hours of driving fun.

3S Power System
