Description
The DF-4S PRO Crawler from DF Models is a top-of-the-line crawler with a 313 mm wheelbase. The steel-frame chassis is hidden under the bodywork and is packed with details and features, as well as a driver figure and cockpit that is attached to the chassis with a magnetic fastener. The model has a hard plastic body with lots of details and additional parts, as well as a fully equipped cockpit and doors that can be opened. The metal supports and steering rods provide the necessary stability.
The vertically mounted all-aluminum oil shock absorbers ensure perfect performance on any terrain. The removable 2-speed gearbox allows for slow climbing (approximately 3 km/h) and fast riding (approximately 13 km/h). The speed controller, which has been revised compared to previous versions, now has a downhill brake that prevents the model from rolling when braking on a slope. Thanks to the universal battery holder, almost any type of 2S LiPo battery can be used. The body is equipped with LED lighting (light bar, spotlight, reversing light, brake light, indicators), which can be switched on/off with a switch on the remote control.
The electric cable winch with steel cable can also be controlled via the transmitter. The differentials of the model can be locked or unlocked in different ways with a remote control (both unlocked, both locked, only the front locked and the rear unlocked). The drive to the wheels is further reduced by a gearbox, which allows for perfect power. These portal axles have the additional effect that the model has greater ground clearance and does not “jump” over obstacles, as is common with standard axles. The remote control is another highlight. Various data can be read on the LCD display: battery status of the transmitter batteries, transmission power, which gear (low or high) is engaged, steering angle in %, throttle position in %, trim status. The steering wheel has an additional lever with which “one-handed” control is possible.
Another highlight is the integrated mobile phone holder. You can attach your smartphone to the remote control and therefore have the option to record videos yourself
