Building on Team Corally’s decades of success in 1:12 scale racing, the SSX125 embodies the brand’s commitment to precision engineering and innovative design. Developed by racers for racers, it is designed to deliver extremely precise handling and incredible cornering speed – right out of the box.

Premium materials and ultra-lightweight

Premium chassis options: Aluminum or carbon:
The SSX125 offers a choice of 2mm 7075 aluminum plates and 2.5mm high-quality carbon plates, each precision-machined with strategically placed cutouts to optimize flex and stiffness. The aluminum version provides a more stable feel on high-grip tracks, while the carbon chassis provides an agile and responsive ride. Choose the option that best suits your riding style and track conditions for maximum performance.

Ultra-low center of gravity:
By eliminating traditional design elements such as a central shock absorber on the battery, the SSX125 significantly lowers its center of gravity. A new rear shock system moves the mass rearward, resulting in better cornering stability and improved handling under heavy loads.

Advanced suspension and tuning options

Optimized front suspension: Robust suspension arms keep camber fixed at 0.5°, which is proven to provide excellent cornering and exiting characteristics. A carbon top plate adds rigidity and can be removed to provide additional flexibility when needed.
Adjustable chassis flex: Carbon side braces mounted with aluminum posts allow you to adjust the lateral flex of the chassis to suit track conditions. Loosen the top bolts for more flexibility on rough or loose surfaces, or keep them tight on high-grip tracks for faster corner exits.
Rear Shock and Spring: Instead of a central shock, the SSX125 uses a friction-based rear shock. Spring preload can be adjusted via the top nut, while an O-ring on an aluminum tube controls the damping. This modern approach lowers the center of gravity and provides smoother, more stable handling. A convenient screw behind the shock adjusts the sag of the rear floor without affecting side-to-side movement.
Side Tube and Spring: The reliable side tube and spring configuration offers controlled lateral movement, with easily adjustable preload and a variety of fluids and greases used to customize the damping effect.

Precision Steering and Ackerman

Adjustable Ackerman: Fine-tune steering characteristics with a simple two-screw system. Increase or decrease the Ackerman effect to control how the front wheels turn relative to each other, optimizing cornering sensitivity and speed for all track conditions.
Floating Servo Mount: The SSX125’s fully adjustable floating servo mount minimizes chassis flex and ensures the servo is centered. It also accommodates a variety of miniature servos that are standard for 1:12 scale racing.
Included Kimbrough Servo Saver: Protect your servo from damage while maintaining precise steering – a must when racing in tight, high-speed events.

Rear Suspension and Drivetrain

Twin composite side arms, an aluminum center hinge, and carefully planned geometry deliver smooth, precise rear-end movement. This classic configuration has proven reliable for 1:12 scale racing. Solid Axle: Modern 1:12 scale tracks often have high traction, making a solid axle the best solution. It is lightweight, maintenance-free and provides easy power transfer.

Eccentric Plastic Bushings: Adjust the ride height quickly and precisely. The composite material also absorbs shock, acting as a cushion to protect the axle and bearings during collisions.

Racing Features:

1S LiPo Battery Compatibility: The SSX125 accepts standard 1S LiPo batteries in a 93 × 47 mm battery box, ensuring a perfect fit.
Recommended Engine: For racing in the modified class, Team Corally offers the 6.5T Vulcan II, offering exceptional power and speed. Standard class competitors can choose from other Vulcan II motors (e.g. 13.5T, 17.5T) to meet specific competition rules.

Mini-sized servo: Designed for mini servos, standard in 1:12 scale, providing low weight and low center of gravity. Proper alignment is critical for optimal balance and consistent handling.
64DP spur and pinion gears: The SSX125 features a 64DP, 90T spur gear, while precision 64DP pinion gears are available for fine-tuning gear ratios.
